2020 CCRRF Officially Cancelled

You bet it's a bummer. We tried to develop a virtual version of some kind, but it just didn't carry the enthusiasm as the real McCoy. So, we're already thinking about CCRRF 2021, and we'll let you know via these announcement emails and on the website as things develop...

If you've got some ideas on what to add, make better, etc... Or, better yet, want to be a Participant or Sponsor in 2021, please contact us through the CCRRF Contacts page.

Next Parlor Car Chat

The Parlor Car Chats program of the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum (SLORRM) is chugging right along!



Join us tomorrow at this week's virtual gathering for "Colorado Fall Colors by Speeder Part 1" at 10am PDT. Shortly after moving to Colorado, Jamie Foster joined a Motorcar Operators West (MOW) speeder excursion that spent a week running on the Leadville Colorado and Southern and most of the San Luis & Rio Grande, including a run down to Antonito, the northeast terminus of the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. Get an online view of what that trip looked like through photos and commentary. This will be Part 1. Part 2 comes as part of the program on August 15th and includes more of the SL&RG and the Creede branch of the D&RGW. Details and how to connect.

New SLORRM Video Library Index

There's now a page on the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum's website that provides an easy-to-find index list of all videos available on the site. The index includes CCRRF videos. It's here: Video Library Index.

Central Coast Trains is Open

Central Coast Trains in Atascadero is open normal days and hours! They're doing mail order, car pick up, and one customer in the shop at a time (masks must be worn).
